Payne is a non-binary North Carolina native and lifelong artist of many mediums including printmaking, animation, design, darkroom photography, music, poetry, painting, jewelry making, and of course, tattooing. Their work reflects their passion for classical art history, featuring fine linework in scientific botanicals and black and grey illustration. They take a special interest in mythological and medieval subjects, as well as anime and manga, and anything relating to magic and the natural world. Payne’s goal is to create a safe space of acceptance and inspiration, where all minds and bodies can feel comfortable to fully be themselves. They feel that through the process of getting tattooed, we become even more true to ourselves, and Payne values the opportunity to assist in that process for each and every client.
